What’s involved?

From time to time, we’ll invite you to participate in research. You might be asked to share your experience with one of our products, tell us about what you do, test new designs, or complete a survey. We’ll give you all the details, so you can decide each time if you want to get involved.

How much time will it take?

The commitment for each research event varies. Often, we’ll schedule a 30-60 minute appointment. Other times, you’ll be invited to complete a survey or participate in a card sort that can be done on your own schedule. When you receive an invitation to a study, we’ll always provide you with an estimate of the time involved.

Do I need to be a Hippobyte user?

No. We want input from the entire spectrum of people interested in cloud computing! No prior experience with cloud infrastructure in general or Hippobyte specifically is required. We will use your answers to the questions on your profile to match your experience to the tasks at hand.

Is there compensation?

For each session you’re a part of, we’ll compensate you for your time with your choice of Hippobyte credit or a gift card.

Do I need to be a developer?

No. Software development teams with people from all kinds of different roles use Hippobyte: developers, data scientists, QA specialists, product owners, designers, system administrators and more. We welcome your participation!

After I sign up, who will have access to my information?

All your personal information will be kept confidential. It will only be accessible by the Hippobyte Research Team, consistent with our Customer Agreement.

Can I opt out?

Of course! You can decline any invitation, and if you’d like to opt-out of our research program entirely, email us at support@hippobyte.com.

Effective January 30, 2021, Hippobyte will cease all its operations, including sales, support, and maintenance of our products, including the Datastackr platform.

On behalf of Hippobyte employees and partners, I extend my deepest appreciation to our customers for allowing us to work with you on solving complex data engineering problems and bringing a new level of agility to your organization. We are proud and pleased that many of you continue to find our Datastackr platform beneficial and will rely on it to deliver business insights.

Prior to our exit, we spent significant resources to develop a plan that would eliminate major risks to our business and operations transition. I am confident in each one of the partners we selected to continue our operations, and I am equally confident that every one of our customers will gain more value from the platform we have developed in the months and years ahead.
